NetEase (9999) Releases Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 2025 Financial Results

NetEase (NASDAQ: NTES; HKEX: 9999) reported RMB27.5 billion in net revenues for the fourth quarter of 2025, up 3.0% compared with the same period of 2024. Revenues from games and related value-added services reached RMB22.0 billion, reflecting a 3.4% year-over-year increase. Net income attributable to shareholders amounted to RMB6.2 billion, compared with RMB8.8 billion in the same quarter of 2024.

Full-year 2025 net revenues rose to RMB112.6 billion from RMB105.3 billion in 2024. Net revenues from games and related value-added services grew to RMB92.1 billion, driven by higher contributions from key titles such as Fantasy Westward Journey Online, Identity V, Where Winds Meet, and Marvel Rivals. Net income attributable to shareholders in 2025 stood at RMB33.8 billion, up from RMB29.7 billion in 2024.

During 2025, NetEase emphasized comprehensive AI integration into game development and operations, supporting advanced creative and efficiency initiatives. Flagship games, including Eggy Party and Sword of Justice, maintained strong player engagement and content updates, while Blizzard titles saw robust interest in the China market.

The company’s board of directors declared a dividend of US$0.232 per share (US$1.16 per ADS) for the fourth quarter of 2025, payable to ordinary shareholders and ADS holders of record on March 16, 2026. Meanwhile, NetEase extended its share repurchase program of up to US$5.0 billion in ADSs and ordinary shares through January 9, 2029. As of December 31, 2025, US$2.0 billion worth of ADSs had been repurchased under this plan.
