Bama Tea Co., Ltd. disclosed a next-day return confirming the repurchase of 117,000 H-shares on 31 August 2026. The buy-back was executed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 31.76 to HKD 31.96, translating into a volume-weighted average consideration of HKD 31.94 per share. Total cash outflow reached HKD 3.74 million.
The repurchased shares, representing 0.14 % of the company’s issued share capital prior to the transaction, have been transferred to treasury stock. Consequently, the number of issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) fell from 84.57 million to 84.46 million, while treasury shares increased from 346,200 to 463,200. Aggregate issued shares remain unchanged at 84.92 million.
The transaction was conducted under the general mandate approved on 21 April 2026, which authorises repurchases of up to 5.30 million shares. Following this latest transaction, Bama Tea has repurchased a cumulative 463,200 shares—equivalent to 0.87 % of the share capital outstanding at the date the mandate was granted.
In accordance with Hong Kong Listing Rules, the company is now subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury share sales until 30 September 2026.
