In the first six months of the year, nationwide customs authorities intercepted 13,000 batches of suspected infringing goods, totaling 36.09 million items, according to data released by the General Administration of Customs.

The General Administration of Customs approved 15,000 filings for intellectual property customs protection during this period and processed 165 general guarantee applications for IP rights enforcement at borders.

The agency is advancing the construction of smart customs systems and the "Smart Customs Strengthening the Nation" initiative. It has also intensified the specialized IP protection campaign "Roaring Dragon 2026," targeting critical infringement areas with focused enforcement actions. Through precise policy implementation, technological empowerment, and collaborative governance, customs authorities aim to enhance regulatory efficiency and service levels.
