Recent reports indicate that MEITUAN-W delivery riders can now block customers, with the company confirming that riders can set restrictions to avoid receiving orders from specific users for up to 365 days, with plans for further rollout.

Recently, social media users posted about MEITUAN-W delivery riders gaining the ability to block customers. On October 11, a MEITUAN-W rider confirmed receiving this notification. Related interface information shows that rider user rating and blocking functions have been piloted in 7 cities including Jinjiang and Shaoxing. Riders can rate users within 48 hours after order completion on the order page.

In response, MEITUAN-W customer service representatives stated that riders with user blocking needs can select the customer blocking option in the APP's order settings page. Once configured, the system will prevent the rider from receiving orders from that specific user for 365 days.
