电池制造商Quantumscape Corp.股价今日早盘飙升约18%，此前该公司宣布将瞄准AI数据中心和国防领域作为新市场。该股此前持续下滑，较去年10月的高点下跌约60%。
Quantumscape Corp.一直以清洁能源初创企业自居，其电池技术有望实现电动汽车更快充电和更长续航。如今公司表示，该项技术同样适用于高耗电的基础设施领域。
"我们认为技术在AI数据中心的应用前景明确且极具吸引力，"Quantumscape Corp.总裁Siva Sivaram在季度财报电话会议上向投资者表示，"虽然尚处早期阶段，但我认为这是对汽车业务组合的绝佳补充。"
