At a State Council Information Office press conference on September 10 regarding the implementation of the 15th Five-Year Plan and efforts to build a financial powerhouse, National Financial Regulatory Administration Deputy Director Cong Lin outlined strengthened oversight measures.
Cong emphasized a comprehensive approach to the "five major supervisory functions," stressing the need for decisive and stringent enforcement. The focus will be on monitoring key personnel, critical transactions, and core conduct while expediting the enhancement of financial legal frameworks.
The administration plans to refine its categorized and tiered regulatory structure to advance differentiated supervision. Additionally, greater emphasis will be placed on technology-driven solutions to bolster transparency-based oversight capabilities. Financial institutions will also be guided toward transforming their development models to strengthen long-term sustainability.
