SIIC Environment Holdings Ltd. (BHK) said on Dec, 4 2025 that Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd. granted the company a new waiver from strict compliance with Rules 3.28 and 8.17 of the Hong Kong Listing Rules.
The waiver covers the period from Nov, 18 2025 to Oct, 13 2027 and relates to the appointment of Kam Mei Ha Wendy as a joint company secretary alongside Lee Wei Hsiung.
Under the waiver, Lee must be assisted by Kam during the remaining waiver period and the relief may be revoked if the company commits material breaches of the Hong Kong Listing Rules.
Before the waiver expires, SIIC Environment must show that Lee has gained sufficient experience to perform company-secretary duties without further relief.
Lee has held a practising certificate from the Chartered Secretaries Institute of Singapore since May 2005 and has more than 20 years of corporate-secretarial experience. Kam, a fellow of The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute, has more than 30 years of experience and has served as company secretary for various listed companies in Hong Kong.
