On Friday, U.S. stocks tied to the cryptocurrency sector continued their downward trend for the week. At the time of writing, Cipher Mining (CIFR.US) fell more than 6%, IREN Ltd (IREN.US) dropped over 8%, MicroStrategy (MSTR.US) declined 3%, Robinhood (HOOD.US) slipped nearly 2%, and Coinbase (COIN.US) dipped more than 1%. In contrast, Circle (CRCL.US) bucked the trend with a gain of over 1%. Bitcoin briefly fell below $100,000, while Ethereum saw an intraday decline exceeding 3%.
