China Southern Power Grid Company (CSG) Chairman and Party Secretary Qian Zhaoyang held a meeting with Baidu Group Founder, Chairman, and CEO Robin Li on September 18. CSG Party Group Member and Vice President Wu Xiaochen, along with Baidu Group Vice President Yuan Foyu, attended the meeting.

Qian welcomed Robin Li and his delegation, expressing gratitude for Baidu Group's consistent support for CSG. He stated that both sides hope to strengthen regular communication, deepening collaboration in areas such as model support, scenario-driven applications, electricity-carbon-computing coordination, pilot testing, industry-finance integration, and overseas markets. Together, they aim to advance the deep integration of artificial intelligence and energy, better empowering the continued growth of advanced manufacturing and reinforcing the foundation of the real economy.

Robin Li thanked CSG for its long-standing support of Baidu Group's development. He noted that both parties, building on their solid cooperation, seek to expand the depth and breadth of their partnership, seize opportunities in AI development, and jointly promote technological innovation and practical applications in artificial intelligence to better support high-quality corporate growth. The Chief Economist of CSG, along with heads of relevant departments and units from both organizations, participated in the talks.
