In commodities, domestic futures showed mixed performance, with glass rising over 1%.

A-Shares: As of press time, the Shanghai Composite rose 0.10%, the Shenzhen Component fell 0.13%, and the ChiNext fell 0.52%.

Hong Kong Stocks: As of press time, the Hang Seng Index rose 1.00% and the Hang Seng Tech Index rose 1.34%.

Bond Market: Government bond futures expanded declines in early trading. As of press time, the 30-year main contract fell 0.20%, the 10-year main contract fell 0.05%, the 5-year main contract fell 0.04%, and the 2-year main contract fell 0.01%.

Commodities: Domestic commodity futures showed divergence. As of press time, alumina, pulp, coking coal, rubber, lithium carbonate, polysilicon, container shipping index, coke, and copper declined, while soybean meal, asphalt, stainless steel, industrial silicon, aluminum, rebar, hot-rolled coil, eggs, ferrosilicon, iron ore, and fuel oil posted modest gains. Glass rose over 1%.

News Updates: Latest data shows that A-share margin trading balance reached 2.31 trillion yuan on September 8, with financing balance at 2.30 trillion yuan, both setting new historical highs for A-shares. A week earlier on September 1, the A-share margin trading balance of 2.298 trillion yuan and financing balance of 2.28 trillion yuan were the previous record highs.

09:37 Gold concept stocks performed actively at the opening, with Diana Concept rising nearly 10%, followed by gains in Xiaocheng Technology, Western Gold, and Chifeng Gold.

On the news front, London spot gold broke above $3,600 per ounce on September 8, reaching a high of $3,635 per ounce, setting a new historical record. Year-to-date, spot gold has accumulated gains of $1,000 per ounce, with annual gains reaching as high as 38%.

09:32 Chip stocks opened lower, with Jingsheng Mechanical falling over 10%. SMIC resumed trading down over 9%, followed by declines in Tongfu Microelectronics, ASR Microelectronics, Biwin Storage, ACM Research Shanghai, Zhichun Technology, Allwinner Technology, and Longsys.

09:31 Government bond futures opened with the 30-year main contract up 0.06%, the 10-year main contract down 0.01%, the 5-year main contract unchanged from yesterday, and the 2-year main contract down 0.01%.

09:29 SMIC resumed trading with an 11.12% lower opening. The company plans to issue shares to acquire a 49% stake in SMIC Beijing.

09:28 The three major indices opened collectively lower, with the Shanghai Composite down 0.27%, the Shenzhen Component down 0.54%, and the ChiNext down 1.09%.

09:21 The Hang Seng Index opened 0.3% higher at 25,711.07 points; the Hang Seng Tech Index rose 0.57%. NetEase rose over 3%, NIO and JD.com rose over 2%, and Alibaba rose nearly 1%.
