ENN Energy (2688.HK) Privatisation Update: BlackRock Discloses Derivative Dealings

On 7 February 2026, an announcement disclosed dealings in the shares of ENN Energy Holdings Ltd under Rule 22 of the Hong Kong Code on Takeovers and Mergers. According to the filing, BlackRock, Inc. reported multiple derivative transactions dated 6 February 2026, all relating to “Other types of products.” The total underlying shares in these newly entered contracts amounted to 506,400, with reference prices around 68 dollars each. The total amount paid was approximately 9.95 million dollars, resulting in a final balance of 5,622,900 shares for BlackRock, Inc.

The announcement also noted that BlackRock, Inc. is a Class (6) associate of ENN Energy Holdings Ltd by virtue of its holdings of ordinary shares in the offeree company. The disclosed transactions form part of the ongoing privatisation process by way of a scheme of arrangement.
