Refinitiv, citing three people familiar with the matter, reports Apple has trained a China‑specific large language model in partnership with Alibaba, marking a shift from its prior strategy of largely relying on third‑party models to power AI features in China.
Apple Intelligence is expected to launch in China in the coming months following an iOS update.
