MONGOL MINING (00975) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Energy Resources LLC (ER), which operates the Ukhaa Khudag (UHG) coking coal mine, and its majority-owned subsidiary Khangad Exploration LLC (KEX), which operates the Baruun Naran (BN) coking coal mine, both located in the Umnugobi province of Mongolia, reported a combined raw coal extraction of 3.6043 million tons for the quarter ending September 30, 2025. This represents a 5% increase compared to the previous quarter ending June 30, 2025, and a 16% decrease from the same period in 2024. In total, the Group processed 3.7538 million tons of raw coking coal to produce 2.103 million tons of wash coking coal products, resulting in a 3% decrease from the last quarter and a 9% increase compared to the same quarter last year.

The commercial gold production at the BKH mine was officially launched on September 14, 2025, with management, employees, contractors, and officials from the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Mongolian Bank, and the Bayankhongor province in attendance. During the quarter ended September 30, 2025, EM sold 342 ounces of gold and 96 ounces of silver to the Mongolian Bank and authorized commercial banks, with a weighted average gold price of $3,805.18 per ounce and a weighted average silver price of $44.15 per ounce, calculated based on the local Tugrik spot price and the applicable Tugrik to USD exchange rate. Following successful completion of construction and commissioning by September 30, 2025, the BKH mine is expected to reach rated capacity in the fourth quarter of 2025. The annual processing capacity of the gold processing plant can handle 650,000 tons of ore, with the latest feasibility study completed in 2023 projecting annual gold production of up to approximately 85,000 ounces.
