US special envoy for the Middle East Witkoff said on Tuesday that US and Iranian delegations held extended talks via an intermediary during the UN General Assembly. The intermediary shuttled between the parties and completed one round of discussions.
Witkoff said he hopes the talks will yield constructive results and that the intermediary will continue to advance the process.
