WAI CHI HOLD buys back 34,000 shares for HKD 24,450; outstanding share count trimmed to 219.61 million

WAI CHI HOLDINGS COMPANY LIMITED announced a repurchase of 34,000 ordinary shares on 11 June 2026 via on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The shares were acquired at prices ranging between HKD 0.71 and HKD 0.72, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 0.7191 per share, bringing the aggregate consideration to HKD 24,450.

Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) declined by 0.0155 % to 219.61 million shares, while treasury share holdings increased to 119,000 shares. Total issued shares, including treasury stock, remain unchanged at 219.73 million.

The buyback forms part of the general mandate approved on 27 May 2026, which permits repurchases of up to 21.97 million shares. To date, 119,000 shares—equivalent to 0.54 % of the share base at the time the mandate was granted—have been repurchased under this authorization. In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, WAI CHI HOLD is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 11 July 2026.
