东江集团控股（02283）于香港交易所主板上市，近日公告将在即将召开的股东大会上寻求授权，以便董事在适当时机回购公司股份。根据公告，此次回购授权上限为公司已发行股本总数的10%，约为8.33亿股的十分之一。公司董事会认为，授权若获得通过，将在必要时通过内部资源或银行融资进行买回，并遵循香港上市规则及开曼群岛法律。
公告显示，截至最后实际可行日期，东江集团控股总股份数为约8.33亿股。若股东大会通过该项授权，公司最多可回购约8332.6万股。董事会指出，此举有助于提升每股盈利和资本回报率。根据公司披露的股份交易区间，过去12个月内股价最高曾达2.78港元，最低1.70港元。
此次回购计划须提交于2026年5月21日举行的股东大会表决。如获通过，公司有权在会议结束后的一段有效期内根据市况进行实际购回操作。东江集团控股并在公告中强调，此举符合公司及股东的整体利益，股东登记将于2026年5月18日至5月21日暂停办理过户手续。
