Howmet Aerospace Inc.'s stock surged 6.18% in pre-market trading on Thursday. The significant upward movement follows the company's release of its fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 financial results, which exceeded analyst expectations, coupled with optimistic guidance for the first quarter and full year 2026.
The aerospace components manufacturer reported fourth-quarter adjusted earnings per share of $1.05, beating the consensus estimate of $0.97. Revenue for the quarter reached $2.168 billion, also surpassing forecasts of $2.125 billion. The strong performance was attributed to robust demand across its key markets, particularly commercial aerospace, defense aerospace, and gas turbines.
Further fueling investor optimism, the company issued first-quarter 2026 guidance projecting adjusted profit between $1.09 and $1.11 per share, well above the analyst estimate of $1.02. For the full year 2026, Howmet Aerospace expects revenue in the range of $9.0 billion to $9.2 billion, with adjusted EPS forecasted between $4.35 and $4.55. CEO John Plant cited accelerating revenue growth and healthy market conditions as key drivers for the positive outlook.
