3SBio Buys Back 1.70 Million Shares for HKD 26.78 Million, Cuts Free Float by 0.07%

3SBio Inc. disclosed that it repurchased 1.70 million ordinary shares on 16 September 2026 through on-exchange transactions in Hong Kong.

The shares were bought at prices ranging between HKD 15.70 and HKD 15.79, representing a volume-weighted average cost of approximately HKD 15.75 per share. The total consideration amounted to HKD 26.78 million.

Following the transaction, the company’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) fell to 2.52 billion, a reduction of 0.07%. Treasury shares increased to 16.11 million, while total issued shares remained steady at 2.54 billion.

The buyback was executed under the repurchase mandate approved on 25 June 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 253.71 million shares. To date, 3SBio has repurchased 15.10 million shares under this mandate, equivalent to 0.60% of the issued share capital as at the mandate date.

In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations, 3SBio is now subject to a 30-day moratorium—lasting until 16 October 2026—during which it cannot issue new shares or dispose of treasury shares without prior exchange approval.
