公告指出，出售協議簽署當日，GEGHL每股收市價約為0.435美元，附屬公司持有的該等股份市值約為5,400,000港元，該附屬公司資產淨值約5,794,000港元。然而考慮到市場波動及歷來投資成本減值因素，最終定價4,000,000港元較資產淨值折讓約30.96%，董事會把該投資視為沉沒成本並預期GEGHL股價仍存下行壓力。
相關數據顯示，附屬公司自2025年12月24日至協議簽署期間資產淨值一度由約6,527,000港元降至5,750,000港元，主因為GEGHL股價下跌。公司認為GEGHL市值及流動性限制了潛在投資者意願，股價於2026年1月22日進一步跌至每股0.3655美元，帶動附屬公司資產淨值縮減至約4,606,000港元。
董事會稱，此次交易有助重新配置資源至主要業務領域，並減少虧損及不必要的行政成本，亦避免未來額外注資。公告強調，綜合考慮未來虧損風險及資源整合等因素，此次出售價格屬合理範圍，符合股東及公司利益。所有公告資訊除以上補充內容外，維持不變。
