International oil prices declined modestly on September 18th. Oil futures closed lower on Thursday, with October delivery light crude futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange settling at $63.57 per barrel, down 0.75%. November delivery Brent crude futures on the London market closed at $67.44 per barrel, also declining 0.75%.

Following last week's price adjustment, oil prices have undergone adjustments for nearly nine months this year. Despite the fluctuations, oil prices for 2025 remain in an overall declining trend, having dropped by more than 0.3 yuan per liter.

The next domestic fuel price adjustment at gas stations is scheduled for Tuesday, September 23rd at 24:00, marking the second oil price adjustment round for September. This will also be the final price adjustment before the National Day holiday period. However, oil prices are expected to increase next week.

With only three days remaining until the price adjustment, the countdown to a potential increase has begun.
