WeRide Reportedly Receives Additional $100 Million Equity Investment from Uber
According to a report by CLS.cn, sources familiar with the matter revealed that Uber has committed to an additional $100 million equity investment in WeRide, on top of its existing stake.
The deal is expected to close in the coming months. This marks Uber’s largest investment in the autonomous driving sector to date.
WeRide shares jumped another 16% in overnight trading after soaring 32% on Tuesday.
