Atlassian Corporation PLC's stock soared 23.94% in after-hours trading on Thursday, following the release of its third-quarter fiscal 2026 results.
The significant price movement was driven by the company reporting both earnings and revenue that substantially exceeded analyst expectations. Atlassian posted adjusted earnings per share of $1.75, beating the consensus estimate of $1.32. Revenue came in at $1.79 billion, surpassing the estimated $1.69 billion and representing a 32% year-over-year increase.
Furthermore, the company raised its annual revenue growth forecast to about 24%, up from its previous guidance of 22%. Management attributed the strong performance to robust demand for its cloud-based products, with cloud revenue growing 29%, and to customers signing larger, longer-term commitments while adopting its AI-powered platform features.
