Green Energy Group Limited reported FY2026 revenue of HK$151.64 million, up 120.1% year on year, driven primarily by the May-launch of its AI chip trading business, which contributed HK$83.46 million—55.1% of group turnover.

Segment review • AI Chip Trading: Generated HK$83.46 million in revenue and HK$2.17 million segment profit during its inaugural two-month period. • Renewable Energy (recyclable oil/biodiesel): Revenue fell 13.4% to HK$51.89 million amid logistics disruptions and higher freight costs in the Middle East shipping lanes. • Waste Construction Materials & Processing: Revenue edged up 6.5% to HK$4.84 million. • Plastic Recycling/Metal Scrap: Revenue plunged to HK$0.21 million following suspension of the German plant in August 2025; segment loss reduced 92.9%.

Cost structure and margin Total operating expenditures (excluding finance costs) were broadly flat at HK$52.74 million. Transportation costs rose HK$0.80 million to HK$20.54 million, while a HK$1.49 million loss on disposal of German recycling assets offset savings from the plant shutdown. Staff costs declined 6.5% to HK$15.01 million.

Balance sheet and liquidity Cash and bank balances rose to HK$12.26 million (30 Jun 2025: HK$7.19 million). Current assets reached HK$35.64 million, versus current liabilities of HK$22.87 million, giving a current ratio of 1.6 (30 Jun 2025: 2.8). The group remained debt-free at year-end.

Post-balance-sheet event On 9 September 2026 the company completed a share placing, issuing 26.53 million new shares at HK$0.40 each, raising net proceeds of approximately HK$10.30 million. Funds are earmarked 80% for AI-component procurement, 10% for further business development in the semiconductor supply chain, and 10% for general working capital.

Dividend The board recommended no dividend for FY2026 (FY2025: nil).

Outlook Management plans to scale the AI chip distribution platform and to exit low-yield German recycling operations, while retaining its environmental and recycling businesses in Mainland China. The group anticipates a balanced “dual-engine” model comprising AI semiconductor distribution and core environmental/recycling operations.
