China Merchants Bank Revises Margin Requirements for Precious Metals Trading Products

In response to heightened volatility in domestic and international precious metals markets, China Merchants Bank Co.,Ltd. has announced a risk management adjustment for its "Zhaocai Gold" business to safeguard market stability and protect investor interests.

The bank's specific notice details that, effective from the close of business on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, the margin call ratio for several contracts will be adjusted to 120%. The affected contracts include Ag(T+D), Au(T+D), mAu(T+D), Au(T+N1), Au(T+N2), NYAuTN06, and NYAuTN12.

The institution advises all investors to strengthen their risk management practices, prudently manage their positions, and engage in rational investment activities.
