环球信贷集团（香港联合交易所主板上市）宣布，董事会将在即将召开的股东大会上提呈一项购回授权议案，计划于授权期内在公开市场回购不超过已发行股本10%的股份。据公告显示，该公司当前已发行股本约为4亿股，若获股东批准，公司最多可在授权生效后的一年内回购约4000万股。
公司表示，购回资金将来自符合开曼群岛法律及香港上市规则要求的合法渠道，届时需动用溢利、股份溢价等适用拨付来源。董事会认为此举有助于提升每股资产净值及每股盈利水平，并符合公司及整体股东的最佳利益。
公告显示，管理层留意到公司股份于过去12个月期间交易价格出现波动，其中在2025年4月最低曾见每股0.55港元，在2026年4月最高曾见每股1.03港元。董事会表示，在行使回购股份后，可能会提高该公司股价稳定性并为股东创造更佳价值。
股东大会定于2026年6月1日上午11时在香港中环太子大厦12楼1225室举行，股权过户登记将自5月27日至6月1日暂停办理。若本次购回授权顺利获批，公司将可按议案所述安排在公开市场执行股份购回，并相信这符合公司经营和股东回报的长期战略规划。
