Want Want China Announces 1.00 Million-Share Buyback on 10 July; July Repurchases Total HK$23.86 Million

Want Want China Holdings Limited reported a further share repurchase of 1.00 million ordinary shares on 10 July 2026 via on-market transactions at prices between HK$3.30 and HK$3.32 per share, for an aggregate consideration of HK$3.31 million.

Including this latest purchase, the company has bought back 7.23 million shares between 2 and 10 July 2026 that are “pending cancellation”. The buybacks were executed at volume-weighted average prices ranging from HK$3.16 to HK$3.42, implying total cash outflow of approximately HK$23.86 million and an average cost of about HK$3.30 per share.

The repurchased shares represent roughly 0.06% of Want Want China’s existing share base of 11.80 billion shares. As of 10 July 2026, the company’s issued share capital remains unchanged at 11.80 billion shares because the repurchased shares have not yet been cancelled.

Under the shareholder mandate granted on 26 August 2025, the company is authorised to repurchase up to 1.18 billion shares. Cumulative repurchases since the mandate’s adoption stand at 8.63 million shares, equivalent to 0.07% of the shares outstanding on the mandate date. Pursuant to Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, Want Want China is subject to a moratorium on new share issues until 9 August 2026 following the latest repurchase.

All repurchase activities were conducted in accordance with the Main Board Listing Rules, and the board confirmed receipt of all funds and compliance with relevant regulations.
