Want Want China discloses 32.01 million-share buyback; latest HKD 8.04 million repurchase on 10 September

Want Want China Holdings Limited filed a Next Day Disclosure Return with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 10 September 2026, detailing recent activity under its share repurchase programme.

The company bought back 2.81 million ordinary shares on 10 September at prices between HKD 2.845 and HKD 2.885, spending HKD 8.04 million. All shares are earmarked for cancellation.

Since the current mandate was approved on 25 August 2026, Want Want China has repurchased 35.21 million shares, equal to 0.30% of the share capital outstanding on the mandate date. Of these, 32.01 million shares were acquired between 26 August and 10 September and are pending cancellation, representing about 0.27% of the company’s 11.73 billion issued shares.

The authorised limit under the mandate allows for the repurchase of up to 1.17 billion shares. A 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares remains in effect until 10 October 2026.
