The U.S. major indexes closed as follows: Dow Jones up 0.18% at 51,267.90; S&P 500 up 0.66% at 7,773.95; NASDAQ up 1.05% at 27,477.31. The broader tape remained constructive, with technology and growth shares leading the advance. Market focus stayed on AI infrastructure, chip supply, and select deal-driven names.

Unusual-move stocks were led by a mix of semiconductors, storage, crypto, and M&A names. SpaceX rose 7.63% to $171.09, Tesla Motors gained 2.20% to $378.73, and NVIDIA advanced 2.12% to $238.90.

On the downside, NEBIUS declined 4.22% to $232.57, while Intel fell 2.63% to $116.19 and Apple edged down 0.24% to $332.89.

Other notable movers included Western Digital up 6.34% at $441.64, Seagate Technology PLC up 4.49% at $887.09, Strategy up 2.76% at $164.43, Cerebras Systems up 9.08% at $181.55, and RXO not shown in the tool data.

Among U.S.-listed Chinese names, Alibaba rose 4.68% to $110.80, Baidu climbed 3.17% to $86.99, and PDD Holdings added 3.34% to $77.90.

Several high-volatility names also stood out, with selective strength in internet, education, and small-cap speculative stocks. Futu Holdings rose 7.37% to $109.70, GDS Holdings climbed 6.24% to $29.29, and Tiger Brokers gained 5.77% to $4.40.

On the weaker side, Datasea fell 19.03% to $0.68, E-home Service declined 16.78% to $1.24, and Xiao I Corp dropped 16.57% to $1.51. The pattern suggests investors continued to favor names tied to AI, storage, and capital-market catalysts.

USD/CNH rose 0.0371%, at 6.73; USD/HKD rose 0.0011%, at 7.85.

1. Roche licensed Alector’s Parkinson’s therapy in a deal worth up to $1.27 billion. Genentech, Roche’s unit, secured exclusive worldwide rights to develop and commercialize the experimental treatment AL050. The agreement includes a $100 million upfront payment and milestone-linked follow-on payments, giving Alector a major funding boost.

2. C.H. Robinson agreed to buy RXO in a $5.8 billion stock-and-cash transaction. The deal expands C.H.
