近日，美光科技运营高管在接受采访时表示，内存芯片短缺在过去一个季度愈演愈烈，并重申供应紧张状况将持续到今年之后，原因是人工智能(AI)基础设施建设对高端半导体的需求激增。此外，为应对供应短缺，美光科技还通过收购方式积极扩产，该公司近日宣布，将以总价18亿美元向力积电收购其一处晶圆厂厂房及厂务设施，用于扩充存储芯片产能。
此前，TrendForce集邦咨询指出，本轮涨价并非短期情绪驱动，而是由“先进制程产能受限+AI服务器需求刚性增长”共同作用所致，其持续性明显强于以往周期。需求侧的根本动力来自AI数据中心。TrendForce预测，2025年全球八大头部云厂商资本开支预计同比增长约65%，IDC与Gartner均在年度报告中指出，AI服务器已成为数据中心IT投资中增长最快的细分方向，而存储系统是其中的关键受益环节。
