The Cross-Harbour (Holdings) Limited (“Cross-Harbour”) reported unaudited profit attributable to shareholders of HK$404.36 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026, down 22.1% from HK$519.06 million a year earlier. Basic earnings per share fell to HK$1.08 from HK$1.39.

Total revenue slipped 4.1% to HK$437.12 million (1H 2025: HK$455.80 million), reflecting softer performances from both the motoring-school and treasury segments.

Key operating segments • Motoring school operation: Course-fee income declined 2.2% to HK$365.76 million. Profit before tax fell 8.5% to HK$126.97 million, weighed by weaker consumer demand and higher vehicle and rental costs. • Electronic toll operation (Autotoll): Profit before tax dropped to HK$8.12 million (1H 2025: HK$11.79 million) as the legacy ETC and stored-value facilities were wound down amid the full transition to the HKeToll system. • Treasury management: Segment profit before tax contracted 19.1% to HK$357.29 million on reduced net fair-value gains (HK$288.47 million versus HK$369.50 million) and lower dividend income. Listed equity securities contributed HK$210.72 million in gains, while unlisted funds added HK$61.14 million.

Balance sheet and cash flow Cross-Harbour ended June with total assets of HK$9.32 billion and net assets of HK$8.59 billion. Cash and bank deposits stood at HK$2.94 billion, with no external borrowings. The investment portfolio expanded to HK$5.54 billion, comprising 44 unlisted funds and 51 listed equities; top holdings included DARF (HK$610.10 million) and Oshidori International (HK$582.40 million).

Dividend After paying a first quarterly dividend of HK$0.06 per share on 13 July, the board declared a second interim dividend of HK$0.07 per share (1H 2025: HK$0.06), payable on 16 September to shareholders on record as of 8 September.

Outlook Management expects continued headwinds for the driving-training market but foresees further revenue growth from HKeToll as new toll points come online later in 2026. The Group plans to maintain a diversified investment approach while monitoring market volatility amid global economic and geopolitical uncertainties.
