Weigao Group Executes HKD 1.91 Million Share Buyback, Lifts Treasury Shares to 53.43 Million

Shandong Weigao Group Medical Polymer Company Limited (Weigao Group) disclosed that on 28 April 2026 it repurchased 540,000 H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 3.50 to HKD 3.58, for an aggregate consideration of HKD 1.91 million. The volume-weighted average price stood at HKD 3.5367 per share.

Following the transaction, issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) fell by 0.0121 % to 4,468.91 million, while treasury shares increased to 53.43 million. Total issued share capital remained unchanged at 4,522.33 million shares.

The buyback formed part of a mandate approved on 27 May 2025 that authorises the repurchase of up to 451.56 million shares. Including the latest purchase, 46.78 million shares—equivalent to 10.36 % of the share capital on the mandate’s approval date—have been repurchased under this authority.

No repurchased shares have been cancelled; all 540,000 shares acquired on 28 April 2026 are being held as treasury shares. In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, Weigao Group is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or transferring treasury shares until 29 May 2026.
