ESR-REIT has entered into a 7.1 billion Japanese yen (about 65 million Singapore dollars) sustainability-linked unsecured term loan facility with Malayan Banking Berhad, Singapore Branch, which also acts as the sustainability coordinator. The three-year loan will be used for general corporate purposes, including refinancing existing debt, funding asset acquisitions and enhancements, working-capital needs and related transaction fees.

The agreement includes change-of-control provisions: the lender may cancel the commitment and demand immediate repayment if ESR-REIT’s manager is removed without lender consent and not promptly replaced, or if ESR Group Limited’s stake in the manager falls below 50.1% without lender approval. The facility carries no security. The deal was announced on Oct, 12 2026.
