Personnel Changes at ICBC: Wu Haiqing Appointed Senior Expert at Jiangsu Branch

According to reports, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) has recently conducted personnel adjustments within its mid-level management, involving several deputy general managers from headquarters and vice presidents from various provincial branches. Among these changes, Wu Haiqing, deputy general manager of the Institutional Finance Department at headquarters, will transition to the role of senior expert at the Jiangsu branch. Wu previously served as the president of ICBC's Zhenjiang branch and the vice president of the Nanjing branch before being appointed as an assistant general manager in the Institutional Department at headquarters in 2022. Other personnel adjustments include: Wang Feng, deputy director of the Internal Audit Bureau, is set to be appointed as deputy general manager of the Financial Accounting Department at headquarters; Xu Wei, an expert in the headquarters office, is proposed to be promoted to deputy general manager of the headquarters office; Li Xiang, assistant general manager of the headquarters office, is proposed to be promoted to deputy general manager of the Institutional Finance Department at headquarters; Jin Hui, deputy director of the Board Office, is proposed to become a senior expert in the Board Office; Liu Aifeng, vice president of the Shandong branch, will transfer to the vice president role at the Henan branch; and Yang Shiliang, vice president of the Guangxi branch, will transition to a senior expert position in the Guangxi branch. Additionally, recent regulatory approvals indicated that on October 9, the appointment qualifications for Fang Yi, vice president of the Guangxi branch, were authorized.
