EPI (HOLDINGS) LIMITED (00689), through its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary EPI ESG Investment (New Zealand) Limited, signed a loan agreement on 5 March 2026 with Solumate Limited as borrower and mortgagor, and an individual guarantor. The principal amount of the facility is NZD3.00 million, approximately HKD13.80 million, with an interest rate of 6% per annum and a repayment term of eight months.

The loan is secured by a first mortgage over properties located at 86E Bush Road, Albany, Auckland 0632, New Zealand, keeping the loan-to-value ratio below 60% based on a valuation from an independent valuer. The guarantor provides additional assurance with a personal guarantee. According to the announcement, the lender performed credit assessments and deems default risk to be low.

EPI (HOLDINGS) LIMITED notes that this financing arrangement aligns with its money lending business strategy in New Zealand, aimed at providing short-term, property-backed loans. Since one or more of the applicable percentage ratios exceed 5% but are less than 25%, this transaction constitutes a disclosable transaction under Chapter 14 of the Listing Rules, requiring notification and announcement.
