Bloom Energy Corp's stock surged 8.46% in pre-market trading, driven by a major expansion of its strategic partnership with Brookfield Asset Management.
The companies announced a fivefold increase in their financing framework for artificial intelligence infrastructure power projects, boosting the commitment from $5 billion to $25 billion. The expanded partnership aims to accelerate the global deployment of Bloom Energy's fuel cell technology to power large-scale AI data centers, addressing the soaring electricity demands of the AI boom.
The framework is part of Brookfield's dedicated AI Infrastructure Fund, launched in November 2025 with a target to deploy $100 billion. Analysts view the significant scale-up as a strong fundamental catalyst, reflecting robust market demand and cementing Bloom Energy's position as a core on-site power supplier for critical AI infrastructure.
