China Shenhua Energy Company Limited (01088) has issued an announcement regarding a change in company secretary and authorized representative roles.

Mr. Song Jinggang has resigned from his positions as Chief Accountant, Joint Company Secretary, and Board Secretary of the company due to a work reassignment, and has simultaneously ceased to serve as the company's authorized representative under Rule 3.05 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, with the resignations taking effect from October 9, 2026.

Following his departure, Mr. Song Jinggang will no longer hold any positions with the company or its controlled subsidiaries.

Before the company appoints a new Board Secretary, Mr. Zhang Changyan, an Executive Director and General Manager of the company, will temporarily perform the duties of the Board Secretary.

Following Mr. Song Jinggang's resignation as Joint Company Secretary, Mr. Zhuang Yuan will continue to serve as Company Secretary and has been appointed as the company's authorized representative.
