Stock Track | LOPAL TECH Plummets 5.12% Intraday as Profit-Taking Follows Strong Q1 Results and Major Rally

LOPAL TECH's stock plummeted 5.12% during intraday trading on Thursday, marking a significant pullback in the session.

The decline is attributed to profit-taking activity from investors following a substantial monthly rally of nearly 70%. This rally was initially fueled by the company's strong first-quarter financial performance, which included a 119.61% year-over-year revenue increase and a return to profitability, driven largely by sales of LFP cathode materials. A key catalyst was also the signing of a major 10-year lithium supply agreement with an Australian miner.

However, the sell-off highlights underlying investor concerns, including a deeply negative operating cash flow position due to aggressive raw material purchases and a high debt ratio, which may have prompted some to lock in gains after the recent sharp advance.
