In recent years, Taijiang County in Qiandongnan Prefecture has leveraged "Village BA" as a catalyst to promote the integration of agriculture, culture, tourism, sports, and commerce. This initiative has not only popularized the sporting event but has also revitalized the rural areas. To date, "Village BA" has achieved a cumulative online exposure exceeding 120 billion views, spurred the establishment of over 1,600 new business entities, attracted 11.8412 million tourist visits, and generated tourism revenue of 13.685 billion yuan, injecting strong momentum into the county's economic and social development. Currently, "Village BA" is at a critical juncture of transformation following its sustained popularity; the central challenge for Taijiang has been to convert the massive event attention into tangible economic growth.

Yi Xian, a provincial people's congress representative and the Secretary of the Taijiang County Committee, stated that Taijiang is resolutely implementing the integrated plan for "promoting industry, strengthening the county, and enriching the people," alongside provincial requirements for tourism industrialization. By capitalizing on its unique resources, the county aims to build a national model zone for the integrated development of agriculture, culture, tourism, sports, and commerce. The goal is to achieve annual tourist visits exceeding 6 million, an average annual addition of 600 new business entities, and comprehensive tourism revenue reaching 6 billion yuan by 2030.

To realize these objectives, Secretary Yi Xian outlined a development path centered on "Five Musts." First, it is essential to preserve the "village flavor" and safeguard its soul. This involves adhering to the simple, authentic nature of "Village BA" as a village-centric event, collaborating with other provincial "village" brands to create cultural and tourism products that boast high public participation and strong emotional resonance, thereby gathering genuine popularity and enhancing communication power. Second, creating immersive scenarios and experiences is crucial. By deeply exploring Taijiang's ethnic cultural DNA and integrating intangible cultural heritage elements like the Sister Festival and wooden drum dances with the sporting events, new interactive and experiential tourism formats will be developed to meet visitors' deeper emotional value needs.

Third, the focus should be on developing cultural and creative products to extend the industrial chain. Efforts will concentrate on creating distinctive cultural and creative items centered on silver jewelry, embroidery, and "Village BA" sports-tourism equipment, while innovating the "sports + e-commerce + industry" model to allow the public to share the benefits of industrial chain development. Fourth, fostering internal and external linkages for collaborative development is key. Internally, "Village BA" will be integrated with ethnic festivals, intangible cultural heritage experiences, and study tours for health and wellness; externally, partnerships with provincial "village" brands and surrounding scenic spots will be strengthened to achieve mutual tourist referrals and resource sharing.

Fifth, providing heartfelt service to make guests feel at home is paramount. Embodying the philosophy of "serving with genuine dedication," immersive services infused with rich ethnic customs will be offered to create a "hosts and guests as one family" atmosphere, aiming to build Taijiang into a county-level window showcasing the practice of Chinese modernization.

Secretary Yi Xian indicated that moving forward, Taijiang County will capitalize on the brand advantage of being the "Birthplace of China's 'Village BA'." By integrating diverse elements such as sightseeing, interactive experiences, and immersive sensations, the county will strive to create an upgraded Version 3.0 of "Village BA".
