面对全国连锁餐厅客流量放缓的冲击，食品分销巨头西思科正将目光转向家庭式小餐馆以缓解经营压力。
西思科首席执行官凯文·霍里坎透露，本地餐饮业务的增长速度已超越整体业务水平，并为公司运营利润率带来显著提升。加大对本地企业的业务渗透，正是西思科斥资约290亿美元收购Jetro Restaurant Depot交易战略的重要组成部分。
霍里坎强调，通过此次收购，“西思科将进入一个规模庞大、韧性十足且持续增长的全新客户渠道，这一渠道完全由本地餐饮业主构成”。这一布局将帮助公司抵消连锁餐厅需求疲软带来的负面影响。
值得注意的是，西思科股价近期下跌约4%，主要由于公司公布的三季度利润不及预期，销售额也未能达到华尔街分析师的预测目标。
