AST SpaceMobile, Inc. 周三宣布，与 Verizon Comms 达成一项协议，自明年起开始提供卫星直连手机服务。
根据AST的说法，此次合作旨在让Verizon用户在“需要时”可以通过卫星直连手机。这标志着两家公司去年宣布的合作关系进一步扩大。
周三，AST股价上涨逾8%。在宣布这项交易之前，这只波动性极高的太空通信股票在2025年已累计上涨超过250%。
Verizon股价则略有下滑。
AST创始人兼首席执行官阿贝尔·阿维兰（Abel Avellan）在一份新闻稿中表示：“通过我们与Verizon签署的最终商业协议，我们正努力在美国本土范围内提供基于太空的蜂窝宽带覆盖。”
交易的具体条款尚未公布。
阿维兰表示，这项协议将把Verizon的850 MHz优质低频段频谱扩展到美国部分地区，使这些区域能够通过AST的太空宽带服务获得更强的信号覆盖。
AST称，这项协议是在其最近成功测试太空网络功能之后达成的。该公司自称正在打造全球首个、也是唯一一个能够通过标准设备直接在太空运行的蜂窝网络，可用于商业和政府场景。
