YANKUANG ENERGY GROUP (01171) released major operational data for the third quarter of 2025. In the coal business, production volume of saleable coal reached approximately 4,603 ten thousand tonnes, marking a 4.92% increase year-on-year, while sales volume of saleable coal rose by 10.08% year-on-year to around 4,582 ten thousand tonnes.
In coal chemicals, methanol production fell slightly year-on-year, whereas glycol, caprolactam, and polyformaldehyde posted significant increases, partly due to a system overhaul in the same period last year. Notably, glycol production climbed 33%, and caprolactam rose by 41.16%. Urea production and sales grew substantially following the commencement of Yankuang Lunan Chemicals’ 400,000-tonne-per-annum urea facilities in the second quarter of 2024.
The announcement highlighted that all operational data are subject to various factors—such as macroeconomic policy, external market conditions, and maintenance schedules—and may differ from those disclosed in official periodic reports. The company cautioned investors about these variables when interpreting the figures.
