On August 25, financial sector sources reported that the National Financial Regulatory Administration recently issued an approval, granting Lei Ming the qualification to serve as Vice President of China Construction Bank Corporation.
According to his resume, Lei Ming was born in December 1969 and holds Chinese nationality. Since September 2023, he has served as Chairman and Executive Director of China Construction Bank Financial Technology Co., Ltd. From May 2018 to September 2023, he held the position of President and Executive Director of China Construction Bank Financial Technology Co., Ltd. During this period, from December 2018 to May 2024, he concurrently served as Vice President of the Shanghai Financial Innovation Institute (Shanghai International Financial Institute) of CCB Training Center and President of Suzhou Financial Technology Institute. From April 2016 to May 2018, he served as Deputy General Manager of the Bank's Financial Markets Trading Center. From November 2011 to April 2016, he was Deputy General Manager of the Commodities and Futures Trading Department under the Bank's Financial Markets Department. Previously, Mr. Lei held various positions including Director of the Office of Shanghai Branch, President of Shanghai Nanhui Sub-branch, and General Manager of the Electronic Banking Department of Shanghai Branch. Mr. Lei is a Senior Economist and graduated from Tongji University in 1995 with a Master's degree in Industrial Automation.
