On Thursday, the three major U.S. stock indices closed collectively higher. The Hang Seng Index ADR also rose, proportionally calculated to close at 25,300.07 points, an increase of 293.91 points or 1.18% compared to the Hong Kong market close. Most large-cap blue-chip stocks advanced. HSBC Holdings closed at HKD 145.635, up 0.23% from its Hong Kong closing price. Tencent Holdings closed at HKD 427.896, rising 0.68% compared to its Hong Kong close.
