Among them, Beijing Capital International Airport is projected to exceed 74 million passenger trips for the year, while Beijing Daxing International Airport is expected to surpass 57 million passenger trips.

During this year's National Day holiday, both Beijing Capital International Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport experienced peak passenger flows.

Expanding flight supply and enhancing service quality

Capital Airports Holding Company has anchored its efforts on the goal of high-quality development of its core aviation business, coordinating joint marketing initiatives for both Beijing airports, fully leveraging the driving role of aviation hubs, and continuously improving aviation supply capacity and service quality to provide passengers with more convenient and efficient air travel services.

First, the company has increased flight supply at both Beijing airports. With support from the Civil Aviation Administration of China's temporary slot policies for the 2026 Spring Festival travel rush and summer travel season, the two airports have worked with based airlines to intensify market promotion and continuously optimize route network layouts. During the summer travel period, the two airports added an average of more than 390 scheduled flights per day, generating approximately 2 million additional passenger trips.

Second, the company has optimized the passenger travel service experience. It has continued to improve the construction of airport service points at both Beijing Capital International Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport, upgrading the "Beijing Service" functions to provide inbound travelers with services in finance, communications, transportation, culture and tourism. Since their launch, the airport service points at both locations have received over 2.7 million passengers, with an average daily reception of 4,241 people, of which foreign passengers accounted for approximately 20.4%. Ride-hailing has become more convenient, with Beijing Capital International Airport Terminal 3 implementing a "front station, rear lot" model for ride-hailing, while Beijing Daxing International Airport has opened a dedicated ride-hailing zone, increasing pickup points to 35, boosting pickup capacity by 250% and vehicle staging capacity by 150%. Check-in and security screening have become more efficient, with Beijing Daxing International Airport introducing international early check-in services, China Southern Airlines compressing check-in time for six foreign airlines it represents by 50%, and domestic next-day check-in and easy security screening achieving full coverage, with the "one-ID clearance" usage rate exceeding 80%.

Third, the company has innovatively carried out multi-scenario aviation-tourism integrated marketing. In April this year, the two Beijing airports appeared at the 22nd Routes Asia conference, engaging in exchanges with nearly 30 airlines and airports on route networks, market development, tourism products and joint marketing. In May, the Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau and the two Beijing airports jointly launched a campaign offering exclusive CBD consumption privileges with international air tickets, allowing passengers holding international tickets for either Beijing airport to enjoy consumption discounts in the Beijing CBD commercial area. From June to July, Beijing Capital International Airport partnered with Air China, China Eastern Airlines and other aviation-tourism partners to hold a summer carnival at THE BOX Chaowai Plaza and participated in the Sanlitun Subdistrict's "A Brand Fair in Tunli" charity market. From August to September, Beijing Daxing International Airport partnered with China Southern Airlines, Aeroflot and other aviation-tourism units to carry out the "Hello Xing Classmate" campus marketing campaign and held the "925 Daxing Airport Aviation-Tourism Carnival" series of events.

During this year's National Day holiday, both Beijing Capital International Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport experienced peak passenger flows.

Capital Airports Holding Company stated that in the future it will continue to leverage Beijing's advantages as an international aviation hub, deepen coordination and collaboration with multiple parties, continuously optimize aviation products, innovate aviation-tourism integration models and steadily enhance the passenger travel experience.
