On 7 October 2026, the bank bought back 366,725 ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange, CBOE BXE and CBOE CXE at prices ranging from GBP 21.39 to GBP 22.44, for a total consideration of GBP 7.99 million. All shares are designated for cancellation.
Including repurchases on 5 and 6 October (378,935 and 369,670 shares respectively), 1.12 million shares acquired this week are awaiting cancellation, equal to 0.05% of the current issued share capital.
Issued share capital remains at 2.17 billion shares, with no treasury shares held.
Since the May mandate, STANCHART has repurchased 40.83 million shares, representing 1.84% of shares outstanding at the time of the resolution. The mandate permits buybacks of up to 221.63 million shares before its expiry at the 2027 AGM or 6 August 2027, whichever comes first.
