HSBC Holdings to Issue $1.5 Billion in Perpetual Contingent Convertible Securities with 6.750% Coupon

HSBC Holdings (00005) announced its intention to issue $1.5 billion in 6.750% perpetual subordinated contingent convertible securities on May 18, 2026. These securities, identified with the ISIN US404280FR58, are callable at the issuer's option during any call period. It is expected that the securities will be admitted to the official list of the Global Exchange Market of Euronext Dublin within 30 days following the issuance date and will commence trading thereafter. Each security will have a denomination of $200,000, with any additional amounts issued in integral multiples of $1,000.
