AVICHINA (02357) announced its 2025 interim results, reporting total operating revenue of 37.465 billion yuan (RMB, same below), an increase of 11.43% year-on-year; net profit attributable to shareholders of 1.03 billion yuan, a decrease of 17.65% year-on-year; and basic earnings per share of 0.129 yuan.
According to the announcement, the revenue increase was primarily driven by year-on-year growth in helicopter and aviation supporting system products revenue during the period.
During the reporting period, the Group's aviation complete aircraft segment recorded revenue of 10.339 billion yuan, representing a 35.06% increase compared to the same period last year, mainly due to increased helicopter product sales volume during the period. The aviation complete aircraft segment accounted for 27.60% of the Group's total revenue.
The Group's aviation supporting systems and related business segment generated revenue of 22.583 billion yuan, up 5.60% compared to the same period last year, primarily attributable to year-on-year revenue growth from the Company's subsidiary AVIC Jonhon Optronic Technology. This segment represented 60.28% of the Group's total revenue.
The Group's aviation engineering services segment recorded revenue of 4.543 billion yuan, remaining essentially flat compared to the same period last year, accounting for 12.12% of the Group's total revenue.
During the reporting period, the aviation complete aircraft segment achieved segment profit of 439 million yuan, an increase of 174 million yuan compared to 265 million yuan in the same period last year, representing a 65.66% increase. This was mainly due to increased benefits from VAT additional deduction policies during the period.
The aviation supporting systems and related business segment recorded segment profit of 2.609 billion yuan, a decrease of 808 million yuan compared to 3.417 billion yuan in the same period last year, representing a 23.65% decline. This was primarily due to changes in the revenue structure of aviation supporting system products during the period, resulting in lower gross margin and reduced gross profit year-on-year.
The aviation engineering services segment achieved segment profit of 188 million yuan, a decrease of 17 million yuan compared to 205 million yuan in the same period last year, representing an 8.29% decline.
