阿达尼·威尔马季度利润暴跌25%,消费需求疲软拖累业绩

周二,阿达尼·威尔马(AWLA.NS),前身为AWL Agri Business,公布季度利润大幅下滑近25%,主要归咎于品牌棕榈油价格飙升迫使消费者转向更廉价替代品。工资增长缓慢持续压缩家庭预算,印度消费者日益避开高端品牌,拥抱实惠选项以应对成本压力。

监管文件显示,这家Fortune食用油制造商在截至6月30日的第一季度实现合并净利润23.6亿卢比(约2751万美元)。核心食用油业务贡献了季度总收入的五分之四,但销售量下滑4%,棕榈油销售疲软是主因;尽管高价推动整体收入增长21%至1705.9亿卢比,业务压力未减。

阿达尼·威尔马在声明中坦言,销量持续承压源于棕榈油价格相对较高导致的销售不振,且季度内市场份额流失。排除一次性影响,其食品部门(销售大米和豆类等主食)销量下降5%,小麦粉业务因需求低迷、本地竞争激烈及成本上升而挣扎于利润率维持。

财报出炉后,股价应声下跌2.2%。竞争对手马里科(MRCO.NS)以Saffola食用油著称,尚未发布业绩;本月初更新中预测第一季度收入增长约20%,归功于农村需求回暖。
