监管文件显示，巴菲特旗下伯克希尔哈撒韦在2024年的最后几天进一步增持了互联网域名服务提供商VeriSign（威瑞信）的股份，通过其保险子公司Geico购买了76487股，总共花费了1560万美元。
截至周一收盘，伯克希尔总计持有1327万多股VeriSign股票，价值超过27亿美元。VeriSign控制着“.com”和“.net”等域名的注册，其股价周二收于206.96美元，过去一年仅上涨约0.3%，但利润率表现较好——根据截至第三季度的财务数据，VeriSign的利润率约为56%，在标普500指数中利润率最高的公司中排名第五，与英伟达并列。在营业利润率方面，VeriSign排名第三，在毛利率方面，排名第13。
