Global Chinese Business Club (01757) announced on 19 March 2026 that it has completed the acquisition of 33% of the issued share capital of a British Virgin Islands–incorporated company. The target entity wholly owns a Hong Kong-incorporated subsidiary holding a Securities and Futures Commission Type 1 licence for dealing in securities, giving the Group an indirect 33% interest in the licensed broker.

The move follows the Group’s 22 January 2026 disclosure of its intention to diversify beyond foundation works and construction machinery leasing. Management views the newly secured brokerage platform as a strategic foothold for tapping opportunities in Hong Kong’s financial services sector and broadening the Group’s income streams.

While the core businesses remain unchanged, the Board emphasized a prudent approach to further expansion in financial services, positioning the Acquisition as a complementary step to enhance operational performance and strengthen the overall financial profile.
